The Meads Christmas Cards

Yesterday, the Mayor of Luton, Cllr Maria Lovell, visited The Meads to collect the Christmas cards that the children in Honeybees Club have been making.  The mayor sent out a plea to schools to make Christmas cards for residents of care homes across Luton who would not otherwise have had much cheer this festive season.  We were very happy to help and as you can see, the children did a smashing job.  The Meads will also be sending out some of the cards made in classes earlier this term to residents at Mulberry Court and Georgiana Care Home to make sure each and every one of them has a card to open from the children at our school.  Here's hoping they have a lovely Christmas.
